Stock races only run while the US market is open (Mon–Fri, 9:30–16:00 New York time)
Coin races run all day, every day
Both sides start at 0%: only the growth after the start counts, so a $80,000 coin and a $2,500 coin race on equal terms
The lead is how far one side is ahead, in percent:
Money you've won stays yours; it only flows back while the other side leads
Each side races the same amount: as much as the smaller team has
On the bigger team, everyone's bet is scaled down by the same share; the rest comes back at the lock, untouched
10% of what the winning side gains
No fee on your stake, on money that didn't race, or on cancelled or dead-even races
Private races also cost whoever creates one $0.25, kept even if the race is off
Nobody decides the result, including us
The race contract reads each asset's price from its trading pool on Base, as a 5-minute average, at fixed checkpoints: every 5 minutes in 2-hour races, every 15 minutes in 24-hour races
The start price is a 1-minute average, taken in the minute between the lock and the start
Every checkpoint is stored on-chain, so anyone can check the result
The live screen shows the current price, so its “so far” number is an estimate; the final result comes only from the checkpoints
